Digging the story of a composer, Subronto K. Atmodjo, who created revolutionary progressive songs supporting Soekarno's political statements, such as Nasakom Bersatu, Resopim, and Free West Irian. The songs were always played on important state events in the cities and even villages. After his move from Semarang to Jakarta, formerly head of the Semarang Youth and Student Association (IPPI) Semarang, Subronto led the Nyanyi and Tari Gembira Ensemble founded by Titi Kamaria (who eventually became his wife), Bintang Suradi and Sudharnoto after the Youth/Democratic Festival World in Berlin (1952). Gembira is the Singing and Dance ensemble that first performed at the state palace. After completing the study assignment at conductor school in Berlin 1965, the politic situation brought Subronto to be arrested, imprisoned and being exiled in Buru Island until 1977 without trial.
